She studied dance, sculpture,
fine arts and media in Paris, Berlin and Karlsruhe (ZKM).
The practice of Lynn is rooted
in the observation of the body, the individual and his perceptions.
From its research are born intimate devices questioning the modes and
the systems of exchange between the spectator and the object, between
an individual and his environment.
Since 2003, Lynn is
particularly interested in the sensitive capacities of sound, exploring
its vibratory and tactile dimension on the skin.
Since 2005, she associated to
her audio-tactile research the sound artist Julien Clauss. They also
collaborate on the project "Immunsystem" (2008-2009) and the dance
project „Moving by Numbers“ (2008) by Wolf K and the company Res
Publica.
Her „audio-tactile“ sound
installations have been a succes on numerous exhibitions, media,
experimental music and dance festivals like Via, Exit, Emergence,
Intrusions#2 in France, Citysonics and Happy New Ears in Belgium,
transmediale, Lab30, Festival Garage, Bonntanzt, Westend, Lange
Tanznacht-Berlin, Sonambiente, Tesla in germany, Neue Musik Rümlingen
in Switzerland, Paradiso in Hollande, Donaufestival in Austria, Galerie
Bina Ellen in Québec, Wro bienale in Poland and Techne in Turkey. A
Fleur de Peau was nominated at the media art award 2004 of SWR/ZKM and
has got a honourable mention at WRO Bienale in 2005.
In 2010 and 2011 she coorganise with Julien Clauss "Laisser le passage
libre -
Rencontres d'arts en marche", an interdisciplinary art meeting, in
Barnave a little village of south of France where she put her living
base.
